Mmmm...broccoli!
Farm Fresh To You has sent me a plethora of broccoli. I finally put it on my "exclusions" list (aka, "ick list") but meanwhile, Boyfriend and I made a delicious broccoli soup out of the piles of green goodness.
We based it on this recipe from Epicurious titled Broccoli Soup with Chive-Cayenne Oil, but added chili pepper flakes and lemon. (I can't take credit for either of these smart additions.)
It turned out super yummy and I was very glad that it didn't have all that heavy cream other recipes call for. We didn't make the chive-cayenne oil, but I think it worked just fine without.
